Free-spirited Jessie has plans for her own career as a detective — starting with the rescue of a teenage girl from a dangerous cult. Slow in parts, but a great “relaxation” read!

Hatch and Jessie must try to discover the truth behind both the mysterious cult and their own budding relationship. It was more like it was just part of the flow of events.

Manly men, spacy fortun, crazy families. But when a break-in and an intimidating act of vandalism strike close to home, her investigation pairs her with the compellingly masculine entrepreneur. Even the story in between held my attention, which I found quite surprising. Good Well done Other than the fact that I really could not like Jessie, this was a well written novel. Ok Not as fast paced as usual, but cute. But as he grows through the story and you learn more about him, he’s cool. About Jayne Ann Krentz. Usually the women had interesting jobs and all these stories are set in Washington state. Wants her love to control her but maintains his distance. Looking back, I think these set the bar for what I expect in a romance novel.

He’s so certain he and Jessie would do okay together. Jrentz believes that the only reason that Hatch wants to marry her is because of her stake in the company.

Overall, a fairly good read.
