The entire story was so familiar, being that I grew up in the South. Throughout the first four chapters of the story we can see this alienation begin to take shape. It is quite uncanny the similarities to how I grew up as the “baby of the family” in my home town. She shows Lena the usefulness and ease of finding out information about people.
I felt like I knew each one of the characters in her story. I was so disappointed; the novel had great potential to be so much better. East Dane Designer Men’s Fashion. Nurse Brown takes steps to protect her from the evil aspects of this specialness, but her mother, not believing in the “old ways”, sabotages her efforts. I think it came from a very old list of books with lesbian themes, although I never found one in it except for a strange scene where two very young girls engage in sexual play without realizing what they are doing.
Lena’s powers were not addressed anymore until the last three chapters, and by then, I didn’t care anymore. I was very happy. Please try again later. Interesting characters were sprinkled in the book; but often exited with no closure to their story lines. This was a very good book.
